Morning Critique: Stacey Gives the Business

The B3rs assemble early in the morning, and, before pitching their story ideas, receive a quick critique of their previous week’s work.  The audio is sort of psychotic at the beginning because there’s a police scanner squawking right next to the camera, but a bit of the way in you can here Stacey’s advice to a reporter on refining her live-shot demeanor.

In the Field: Shoot and Move

When a train finally came into the station, Mike had to run around like a crazy man to shoot multiple angles on the line of passengers entering the train.  The stop lasted about 5 minutes, and Mike wisely kept the tripod compact so he could move it quickly; this also provided variety in the camera angles available to him later as he assembled the shots into his package.
